Grady B. Jolley

Grady B. Jolley was born in 1956 in Sweetwater, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in History in 1978. In 1982, he received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Where he was president of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Jolley moved to Abilene, Texas, to practice oil and gas, commercial, bankruptcy, wills, estates and probate law. In 1990, Mr. Jolley returned to the San Antonio Area and set up a general law practice with an emphasis in oil and gas, real estate, banking, commercial law and business organizations. Mr. Jolley served clients throughout the region since merging with Ken Nunley and Joe Davis to form Nunley & Jolley, L.L.P. in 1996. In addition to numerous bar memberships, Mr. Jolley has served as president of the Medina County Bar Association and the Border District Bar Association. Mr. Jolley serves on the faculty of the University of Texas Law School’s Texas Water Law Institute. He is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Past Chair of the District 15C-3 State Bar Grievance committee, the College of the Texas Bar Association, The Texas Association of Bank Counsel and the Texas Land Title Association. Mr. Jolley is married to Rhonda G. Jolley, a practicing attorney; and has four children. He enjoys golf and is a music fan.
Mr. Jolley has represented clients in complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, refinancings, real estate acquisition, and water rights transfers. He continues to perform real estate, oil and gas, banking and business organization al work. He is an approved examining attorney for Stewart Title Insurance, Alamo Title Company and Fidelity Title Insurance.
